WOW!

New York was absolutely fabulous. Anyone who has had family go via Ellis Island to the USA, I would recommend a visit. The search facilities are excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, and the exhibitions are very informative and poignant. And of course the rest of New York is brilliant also!
I did find a few tidbits to help the research along on a couple of our ongoing trees and learned some new search techniques, so a very worthwhile and enjoyable visit.

Off to Ellis Island, New York!

We are heading off to New York tonight for a few days, and excited to be able to take the opportunity to visit the Ellis Island Family History Centre while we are there. The centre holds records of millions of immigrants to the USA from 1891 to the early 1900's, so we're hoping to be able to find some nuggets to further the research on the trees of some of our clients. Fingers crossed! We'll be back to full service again on Wednesday 18th November.

Susan - new customer - we can't contact you!

Susan, from Maryland, USA, if you read this, please can you contact us again. We have tried to e mail you with the requested information on your family, but all e mails to your given e mail address are being failed. We have tried to call you (and taken into account the time difference!), but with no success. We look forwad to hearing from you again - especially since you have already made a payment, thanks!

Welcome!

Welcome to our long awaited new look website. Big thanks go to Clare and Simon at www.medden.co.uk for their great design work, patience and professionalism. I recommend them highly if you want website work done.
We have had an interesting week reuniting a London client with his previously unknown 2nd cousin in the United States. Awaiting the outcome of the first communication with bated breath!
